Calling all cat lovers: Australia's first national Pet Show arrives in Brisbane!
Attention, feline fanatics of Queensland! Brace yourselves for an extraordinary event catered specifically to our beloved cats.
Australia's first national Pet Show is making its way to Brisbane, taking place on July 1st and 2nd at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
With over half (58%) of Queensland residents being proud pet owners*, it's evident that the state is home to a community of passionate animal lovers. After receiving immense acclaim in Sydney and Melbourne, The Pet Show is now headed to Brisbane, ready to enchant cat enthusiasts across the region, this time with a partnership with Cats Australia.
Join us as we celebrate the enchanting bond between humans and their feline companions, all while gaining invaluable insights into positive cat parenting.

The Pet Show is thrilled to be partnering with Cats Australia for the first time to bring a new component to its event. As part of the partnership, an official TICA international championship show event will take place over the weekend with highly experienced TICA judges from the USA.
Witness adorable kittens, pedigree cats, and household pets in action, as highly experienced TICA judges from the USA preside over this exciting competition. Explore the cat breed booths and engage with knowledgeable breeders for a first-hand experience like no other.
Following the upcoming event, the show will once again visit Sydney and Melbourne before launching in Adelaide. Dates and locations include:
✔️ Sydney 18th – 19th November 2023 at Sydney Showground
✔️ Melbourne 13th - 14th April 2024 at Melbourne Showgrounds
✔️ Adelaide 18th - 19th May 2024 at Adelaide Showground

The Pet Show will also feature a line-up of renowned experts, including Channel 9 Bondi Vet regulars Dr. Kate Adams, Dr. Audrey Shen and Queensland local, Dr. Alison Shen, animal behaviourist Dr. Kate Mornement and wildlife advocate, pet expert and author, Ben Dessen.
Kelly Gill and The Wonderdogs along with children’s favourite Bluey and Bingo will provide entertainment and photo opportunities across the weekend.
There will also be a wide array of potential pets to meet and exhibitors involved in the show including Whimzees, Ziwi, PAW by Blackmores, Reptile One, Dymax, Prime 100, Refuresh and many more.
Tickets are available online from thepetshow.com.au/brisbane with part proceeds from every sale donated to RSPCA Queensland.
Early bird purchases made before May 26 will also receive a 20% discount.
