Australian Cat Lover was officially launched mid-2019 after we welcomed home our own rescue kitten Arya, whom we first discovered via the RSCPA Adopt A Pet and adopted the very next day (!) because we couldn't wait to meet her from a Sydney Petbarn location.
Australian Cat Lover is the sister Website / Digital Magazine to Australian Dog Lover (launched in October 2015), which has become the No.1 educational platform in Australia for dog lovers with 4.2 million page views, over 1,490 stories and 58 monthly editions published as of June 2020.
We are also owned by three Belgian Shepherds: Conner (13), a senior Tervuren and our Malinois twins (7) named after "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas: Porthos (adopted in March 2014) and Aramis (adopted in September 2015) both from Monika's Doggie Rescue.
As our fur family had settled over the past 5 years, we thought it was now time to add a kitty to our pack, taking the introductions slowly.
Both platforms aim to promote responsible pet ownership and encourage adoption with a focus on providing advice on health, training/behavioural issues, as well as introducing the latest products and services available to Australian pet owners.
