Cat Lovers Festival Sydney 2023 | August 26-27

Cat Lovers Festival pounces into Sydney for the furr-st time ever!

Hello Kitty! The first major event dedicated to educating, entertaining and inspiring feline-fanatics is finally coming to Sydney Showground on Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 of August

Cats across New South Wales will be purring, meowing, and knocking more things off tables than ever before!

“The Cat Lovers Festival is everything that’s cool about cats and a rare opportunity to immerse ourselves in all things feline”, said Festival Founder, Jason Humphris. “We hope that cat-fanatics from across NSW and Australia can attend this fabulous first feline-focussed festival, to join in the fun with other like-minded cat enthusiasts.”

“It’s all about celebrating the unique relationship we share with our cats, discovering insights to help better understand them, with expert tips on how to enrich their lives and be the best cat-parent we can be,” Humphris continued.

“There are no cat parks for our felines, so you just don’t get to see these beautiful creatures walking around the community like our more extroverted dogs. So, to get up close and personal with dozens of breeds and around 200 cats at the Festival is a truly unique opportunity”, Humphris concluded.

WHISKAS® Stage

The WHISKAS® Stage, the Festival's ultimate education and entertainment destination, will deliver an impressive line-up of talks, demonstrations, and Q&As from leading cat experts.

Best-selling author and global rescue advocate Jackson Galaxy will be projected onto the big screen live via satellite from Los Angeles to discuss the benefits of home “Catification” and why playing with our cats is so important for their wellbeing.

Beloved Aussie TV Vet, Dr. Katrina Warren will also take the stage to address common cat problems, while internet sensation CATMANTOO, with over 1.6 million followers across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, and his talented feline, Didga, will demonstrate how to train cats to use a harness and leash, proving that teaching cats at home is easier than we think.

Crazy-cat-kids who love to sing and dance, will also love the live daily shows from Hello Kitty and her friends on the WHISKAS® Stage.

Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase
